Since becoming a director, Jeff has taken responsibility for the firm's internal financial arrangements and his client portfolio includes some of the larger corporate entities who benefit from his strategic advice.
Jeff is another keen golfer and sports enthusiast - this and the attentions of his young family ensure that all his spare time is fully utilised.
Carl joined the firm in 1998 and qualified in 2005.
He has overseen a diverse and growing client base for a number of years now, and having lived in the area all his life has enjoyed seeing local businesses grow, whilst also dealing with clients further afield.

In addition to overseeing his own portfolio of general clients, Steve is heavily involved in the practice's charity and not-for-profit division, being both a Fellowship Member of the Association of Charitable Independent Examiners and holding the Diploma in Charity Accounting from ICAEW.
Steve originally trained as a Chartered Accountant with Hamilton & Wilton, who amalgamated with Ashdown Hurrey in 1991, so has many years of experience within the profession locally.
As well as working with charities in a professional capacity, Steve is, in a personal capacity, a trustee of a local charity and enjoys the hands-on experience this appointment gives him.
