In 2000 our founder David Cuthbertson moved to the beautiful Cotswold village of Shilton near Burford in Oxfordshire.
After a career in industry spanning more than 30 years including working for a Plc and owning his own businesses, he was looking forward to living in a small village for the first time and having time to spend on other things.
After a couple of years, and with his wife still working full time, it became clear that he needed something more to occupy him.
So he decided to do some bookkeeping and accounts for some small businesses in the area.
After a career in industry spanning more than 30 years including working for a Plc and owning his own businesses, he was looking forward to living in a small village for the first time and having time to spend on other things.
After a couple of years, and with his wife still working full time, it became clear that he needed something more to occupy him.
So he decided to do some bookkeeping and accounts for some small businesses in the area.
David had a 30 plus year career working in finance in the construction industry and has run his own companies for many years.
He founded Shilton Accounting Services in 2003.
Issie is currently responsible for overseeing all the bookkeeping, accounting and payroll functions undertaken by staff as well as supervising all aspects of staff and client training.
Viky worked her way through college and qualified as MAAT in 2015 joining Shilton Accounting immediately afterwards.
Lesley took on responsibility for her own portfolio of clients dealing with their bookkeeping and payroll requirements.
